My husband and I had 3 criteria to meet when we were looking for a mirror for our 14-1/2 year old 5'2" tall daughter - (1) INEXPENSIVE, (2) LARGE ENOUGH TO VIEW HERSELF FROM HEAD-TO-TOE, (3) A BRIGHT WHITE GLOSSY FINISH.We had looked at this mirror, as well as others, in the range of $150-$200 and were thrilled to see it listed at $42 and free shipping. We hesitated after reading the problems several customer had, but decided that, at that price, we had to check it out.We are thrilled with the mirror. It arrived on time, packed in styrofoam, in a box within another box - in perfect condition. It went together easily. The paint is a bright white gloss finish and adjusts forward and backwards. The mirror, including the frame, is 59.5 inches which is shorter than my daughter, but she had no problem seeing herself from head-to-toe by simply tilting the mirror slightly and standing back about 2 feet from the mirror. Is this a mirror that will last for generations? No (but I hope it will last until she goes to college). Does it LOOK like a high-quality piece of furniture? No (It reminds me of something you'd see at Target or Walmart). Would I like the mirror as much if I had paid $150-$200 for it? No. What would I value the mirror at? Probably about $75. Does it look like an accessory I would place in a master bedroom? No (I see it more for a young girl or teenager's room or maybe a guest room). It arrived way before the date indicated. Because of the very low price my expectations were not at all high, I know from experience that "you get what you pay for". I just wanted to lighten up a dark corner in my small bedroom. To my surprise it was way better than expected. The wood (whatever it is) is strong, thick, frames and holds steady and stands-up very well balanced. The screws needed to put it together are nice. The white paint is even and smooth; lovely. The mirror itself is more than just fine. Only one thing is important to take special care, the mirror does not have a strong backing and it moves a bit too freely within the frame. When you clean the mirror you must provide some kind of sustain for the back while you rub. And yes you have to put it together BUT IT WAS BEYOND EASY! I was frighten when I opened the box and saw the parts and the little bag of screws. I'm elderly, have back problems and my hands are not doing so great. I was able to set it up by leaning it on the bed in less than fifteen minutes. Wish I could show what it has done for my room. In the end; I just love it.My bedroom is decorated with antiques and I wanted a full length mirror that wasn't the typical generic wall-mount type. However, I didn't want to spend a lot. This mirror fit the bill perfectly. It arrived quickly, in perfect condition, and was extremely easy to put together. It took me about 5 minutes to assemble it, and it's very lightweight, so it was easy to move when I was done. Some people have mentioned issues with the size or the quality of the finish. I don't have issues with either of these things. I am 5'5" and my husband is over 6ft tall. Both of us can use this mirror, because it tilts to adjust for full view. This is NOT strictly a children's mirror. Secondly, this mirror is made of wood, so you can see the texture of the wood grain in places. It's not a distressed finish where you can actually see the wood beneath, though (just the grain of it, and only in inconspicuous places like parts of the legs). For the price, I really can't find anything to complain about. This mirror is beautiful and very well made. When I first received my original mirror, the mirror portion arrived broken in shipping. I contated the seller and had it resoved within a week or - time between initial contact and receipt of new mirrors. Seller sent a complete replacement of the entire mirror. It is a very nice piece and works very well in my guest bedroom. I looked locally for a similar mirror as I was hesitant to order a mirror through shipping (and my worries exactly came to pass). The finials on the bottom legs were not finished off as well as the rest of the piece but it is on the bottom of the mirror and I would be the only one to know as I saw it during assembly. Very very easy to assemble and finished it is very sturdy. Would highly recommend product and seller. This is a great mirror, not just for little kids. I got it as a gift for my sister, and she thinks it's perfect. We are both adult people with full-grown bodies, and the length of this mirror works just fine if you're standing a few feet away, just like with any mirror. The paint finish is a bit inconsistent in some spots, but nothing terribly noticeable. The mirror is tilt-able just like described, just loosen or tighten the chevals, like so.No complaints about the shipping, it arrived within a week and was not damaged at all. It is packed within a styrofoam frame within a box, which is inside of another box. There IS a small line-type drawing of a cheval mirror on the mirror box, but not on the outermost box with the shipping label--and it is not an actual picture of the mirror, in case you are wondering about shipping it as a gift.I assembled this with one other person--it would be a bit awkward on your own. The assembly instructions were not complicated---you'll need a Phillips head screwdriver.La madera del marco tiene defectos y grietas que quiza mas tarde se abran.Very happy with this purchase! Easy to move around and my daughter thinks it's very pretty.
